    Worldwide, living aboard provides affordable housing in high cost urban areas. It has been a Key West staple for centuries.
    The current proposal places a question before Key West decision makers, “If land is too expensive should new managed liveaboard marinas be enabled for the workforce?”
    Cost effective bus, bicycle, and scooter transportation are a workforce mainstay in Key West. Minimizing vehicles and parking are current Key West goals. Will parking be needed for this development? Yes, and it should be available. Will you please work with this applicant to find innovative alternatives to normal on-site parking requirements?
    There is value in this proposal.
