31 26-5908 Authorizing and directing the City Manager to initiate an immediate intensive search for the position of City Attorney; Reviewing and approving the job application; Establish a stringent timeline for expedited evaluation and processing of all applications received for the position of City Attorney; Authorizing the Human Resources Director to vigorously advertise for the position of City Attorney and to review applications upon receipt to ensure they meeting minimum qualifications; Providing that the City Commission shall directly review applications and conduct interviews for the position of City Attorney without the establishment of an Advisory Screening Committee; Authorizing any necessary related budget transfers or adjustments, upon the advice and consent of the City Attorney.
