12 26-5899 *Approving the attached IT-115 Use of Artificial Intelligence Policy; Authorizing the City Manager to implement the Policy as part of the City's Policies and Procedures and to take such administrative actions as may be necessary for implementation.
I am unable to attend tomorrow's meeting because I will be traveling home from Chicago. I submitted six questions regarding the proposed IT-115 Artificial Intelligence Policy, and Mayor Kaufman has forwarded those questions to management, IT, and the City Attorney for response.
I respectfully ask that the Commission consider those questions before voting on Item 12, particularly the issues of public-records retention, transparency of AI use, the City's planned use of Ordinal Connect, vendor/data protections, the six-month policy review, and the definition of "meaningful human review."
