27 25-4881 *Approving the attached Fifth Amendment to the Solid Waste Collection and Processing Services Contract between the City of Key West, Florida and Waste Management, Inc. of Florida; Authorizing the City Manager to execute the Fifth Amendment and all necessary related documents, upon consent of the City Attorney.
This amendment needs to include a provision for longtime residents who have had a yard waste container for many years with stickers that were provided by Waste Management. To remove these and now require us to purchase bins for yard waste is not right. As a full time resident having yard waste is not option and the bin previously provided needs to be honored.
