how much would it cost to procure a propane bus from HTA? that seems more logical to me at least. or better yet, somehow incorporate the HTA owned trolley tour route as a substitute for the defunct duval loop. was the tourists/locals low cost ($1) access to more than 50% of the same old town route that the ($52.20) trolley tour option offers a conflict of interest? do we really need a 1.2 million dollar electric bus that requires a 6 month paid course for our drivers to be able to operate? why not a 12+ seater shuttle bus just like many that the hotel chains offer? there has to be a more logical 21st century solution, right? please be transparent in the rational for this costly endeavor...

This purchase order is for $1,875,768.00, far more than the disclosed amount. It contains a standard city bus for $695,248.00, and the electric bus for $1,180,520.00, without our extra options. The electric bus costs $543,631 more than a standard bus. Meanwhile, you have shut down the Duval Loop bus service as a cost saving. What good is owning a $1,238,879 electric bus if we are not providing bus service?
