Please preserve the healthy Sapodilla tree. Its strong canopy provides vital shade, lowers heat, and reduces energy use. As a mature tree, it supports local wildlife, improves air quality, and helps manage stormwater through deep roots that prevent runoff and erosion. It also adds beauty and character to Key West’s tropical landscape. Removing a healthy tree would cause unnecessary environmental loss. I respectfully urge the city to save it.
