ICE Says they do not need probable cause to stop someone and ask for immigration information. Does the KWPD agree?
What officers are assigned to Immigration enforcement?
Will they wear name tags and show proper identification that can read?
What guidelines are being used for an immigration stop?
What documentation is being kept of the encounter? (name, date of birth, country, status, documentation shown, etc?)
Who authorized the KWPD to sign 287(g)?
ICE says that any entry into the US is an illegal entry and therefore a crime and thus the person can be detained, regardless of current legal status (TPS, Court, Asylum). Does the City Council and the KWPD agree?

Our participation in this agreement signals support of the current state and federal government's inhumane and unconstitutional round up of our friends and neighbors. We shout One Human Family from the dais and across the island...let's make sure our actions are in alignment. I urge you to stand with your island family and terminate this agreement immediately.
