I strongly oppose any resolution to terminate the City Attorney without cause. The public has seen clear evidence of misconduct that warrants termination for cause. To do otherwise is not only poor leadership—it exposes the City to greater legal and financial risk due to inconsistent application of policy. Public trust has been broken, and accountability is essential. The Commission must act with integrity and in the best interest of its constituents, not to shield a colleague from consequences.
