This does not address many needed public safety improvements to make our streets safer (1) A communications plan to inform users/tourists? (2) An enforcement plan (KWPD) for citations/meaningful fines that serve as a deterrent? Held accountable? (hard to believe when we have little existing traffic enforcement with respect to speeding, distracted driving, failure to provide bicycles 3 feet, etc., (3) Will there be new licensee/btr fees to cover increase in regulatory costs/traffic enforcement, (4) Reasonable caps on numbers available for rent to reduce our road carrying capacity issues? Classic feel good legislation that results in status quo, more ordinances, no enforcement.
