14 22-3227 *Approving the attached "Temporary Use Agreement Addendum - BOT #440360555" between the City of Key West ("City") and the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida ("Board") for the Key West Bar Pilot Vessel Mooring Area waterward of 700 Front Street.
Appropriate? Could City handling of this lease addendum in a different way be used as a negotiating tactic to exert pressure on the Bar Pilots Association and owners of Pier B to cooperate with the wishes of the City and its voters? Given significant positive financial benefits received currently and in the past by both the owners of Pier B and the Bar Pilot's Association, can the City make changes to this arrangement to increase its share of revenues?
