In the last mtg, the city touted its parking revenues, but I can assure you that this DOES NOT TRANSLATE TO OUR SMALL BUSINESSES AND WORKERS. What do you say to the businesses that have closed; to residents who cannot work; to those who can't afford rent; to our children who are being LEFT BEHIND, and for what?! Threats of penalties and closures does NOT support our local businesses. Policing our visitors does not encourage a return visit. Common sense strategies, please, not politics!
