    good to see we continue to move forward with long overdue street and sidewalk improvements; why the high priority for this particular project now? many other projects and streets are in much worse condition and have been waiting in the cue much longer than this project; for example, Simonton Street, particularly the 600 through 900 blocks have been in dire need of attention for over 10 years (i have emails and picture of potholes to City Staff to prove it); meanwhile the Simonton project started years late, about 3 weeks ago, and yet the crews have recently dropped everything on Simonton, stopped the project and moved to Duval Street?
